Indians, $4 tickets and a yearly series

After last night's loss the Bucs are pounding on the Indians leading them 9-1 as I write this.  Get ready to unfurl those Jolly Rogers.  The Pirates are in 6th place with a 31-39 .443 -8 and are on a 5 game losing streak.  So, a win tonight would be a welcome change.  Perhaps it could lead to a winning streak?

It was announced that the Pirates on June 30th will offer $4 tickets to the Cubs game.  Why?  It was on that date a 100 years ago the Pirates opened Forbes Field against the same Cubs.  $4 is a great price!

Sanchez is running behind in the All-Star vote. He has had one heck of a season, how about going to vote for him online?  I know I will be.

Pirates President Coonelly has come out in favor of playing the Indians yearly since the two cities are not that far from each other.  We also know the two cities have one heck of a football rivalry.  Perhaps he thinks the Pirates would dominate this rivalry like the Steelers do theirs?

Well, lets hope the Pirates win tonight and turn this into a winning streak.  I still believe this team is better than their record right now and can improve their record greatly.  GO PIRATES!!!!
