Brooklyn Nets Workout Former Heat Player Eddy Curry

The Brooklyn Nets are still searching for that final big man to back up center Brook Lopez and may have found a former champion to fill a whole.

In a report from ESPNNewYork.com, a source confirmed that the Nets will work out former Heat and Knicks center Eddy Curry next Wednesday.

Curry, 29, has not been a huge factor in the league since being diagnosed with a heart condition back when he was a member of the Chicago Bulls.

Curry averaged 13.5 points per game during his first seven seasons in the league. But since 2008 he has averaged less then 10 minutes per game.

Yahoo! Sports also reported that the Nets would work out center, Hilton Armstrong as well. Armstrong played for ASVEL in France last season.
