The Celtics scored the first hoop, and 2-0 would be the only time they led in game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Lakers were efficient and and professional in handing Boston a 102-89 beatdown.
My theme since the earliest days of writing the Bettor Edge has been the Lakers winning the NBA title.
The Lakers were there for the taking at around +150 since I began beating this drum, and I just hope that many people took my advice and got down. The Finals ended w/ LA -185, and after game 1, they are now -340 to win it all.
From here on out, we will take it game by game. Boston will play better than they did in game 1, and this will not be an easy series.
